Tom Jennings has over 40 years of experience as a healthcare executive transforming healthcare settings across the country and leading an innovative not-for-profit organization, NXT. He now has his own firm specializing in strategic, futuristic visioning for organizations. In addition, he is a guest lecturer and mentor for healthcare students at the Schools of Healthcare Administration at the Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston, S.C. and The George Washington University, Washington, D.C.
His past projects have become successful models for hospitals. Some of his most successful partners have been the Department of Defense, MIT, Clemson University, Sintef in Oslo, Norway, and Dupont, and he takes great pride in being a mentor to many individuals who have successful careers today. A Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives, he is a graduate of Wake Forest University and George Washington University. He now resides in the most beautiful city in the world, Charleston, South Carolina with his wife. He is a futurist at heart and is very excited to share his journey and story of innovation.
