Svetomir N. Markovic, M.D., Ph.D. is a consultant in the Divisions of Medical Oncology, Hematology, and Immunology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
Dr. Markovic’s focus areas include discovery of biological processes that are utilized by cancers to overcome anti-tumor immunity in humans, discovery and translation into clinical studies of novel agents that favor anti-tumor immunity in patients with melanoma and non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, and understanding ways to integrate different modes of cancer therapy into comprehensive treatment strategies.
