Sooji Lee

Service Designer, Mayo Clinic

Sooji Lee is a service designer with a great interest in people. Using design thinking methodologies and user-centered design, she strives to know people and their experiences to help solve their problems in creative ways. This is the reason she was drawn to the Mayo Clinic, because the Kern Center employs design thinking to understand and address health and health care issues from the perspective of people.

Having joined the Mayo Clinic Robert D. and Patricia E. Kern Center for the Science of Health Care Delivery, Innovation & Design team in 2016, Sooji brings design knowledge and skills from leading innovation projects and workshops at mainly consumer goods companies, such as Wilson Sporting Goods and Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. She has a background in industrial design, design research, and design planning and is a current member of the Service Design Network.
