Mindy Mickelson is a project manager at the Mayo Clinic Robert D. and Patricia E. Kern Center for the Science of Health Care Delivery. Mindy currently supports teams in Innovation & Design, the Information & Decision Engineering Program and other areas of the Kern Center, working on projects related to predictive analytics, access management, virtual reality, and machine learning. Mindy has also worked in the Mayo Clinic Enterprise Portfolio Management Office and Center for Regenerative Medicine.
Prior to coming to Mayo Clinic, Mindy was a project manager with the American Association of Neuromuscular & Electrodiagnostic Medicine. In this role, Mindy supported CME and meeting initiatives and served as liaison to the Muscular Dystrophy Association on clinical conference accreditation. She is also a returned Peace Corps volunteer, and has conducted large-scale community needs assessment projects in Colorado as a member of an anti-human trafficking task force, utilizing participatory action research methodology.
