Martha Durrett has been interested in data visualization and unusual, complex data since she was introduced to the field of digital humanities during college. After receiving her B.A. in Computer Science and English from Carleton College in 2018, she moved to Boston to work for Fathom Information Design. At Fathom, she is a researcher, software developer, and data analyst, working on projects in a broad range of fields.
Earlier this year, she enjoyed working with Mayo Clinic’s Innovation & Design team on a project that explored ways in which patient data interfaces could be redesigned to make the patient/provider interaction cycle more streamlined, communicative, and beneficial to all parties.
