Kathryn Perera is Head of Transformation at Horizons Group, NHS England. At NHS Horizons, she leads the development of social movement theory and practice in all programmes of work, and assists in setting up the Horizons Community Interest Company to offer cutting edge transformational expertise to the health and care sector, both in the UK and abroad. Kathryn’s current programmes of work include system-wide collaborations within NHS England, as well as programmes ranging from quality improvement to loneliness, public health and volunteering. She has worked across law, politics, campaigning and social enterprise, converting theory into practical outcomes with system-wide impact.

Professional highlights include:

  • 2015/2016 US-UK Fulbright Commission Scholar
  • Visiting Fellow at the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University
