Gina Lange is a registered nurse care coordinator in the Department of Hematology at Mayo Clinic. Gina holds a BS in Nursing from the University of Minnesota where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. In 2014, Gina began her nursing career as a registered nurse within the Hematology/Oncology/Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) unit at Methodist Hospital. In 2016, she continued her passion to care for hematologic patients and accepted a position as an ambulatory registered nurse within the Hematology department working with Lymphoma patients. In 2017, following the FDA approval for CAR-T (Chimeric Antigen Receptor Therapy), Gina transitioned to an registered care coordinator position, in which she held an integral role with the development of the CAR-T program at Mayo Clinic.
Gina achieved Silver Level Certification in the Mayo Quality Fellows Program which provides quality improvement education and certification for individuals and teams. Other achievements include a presentation of the poster “The role of the RN Care Coordinator in developing a new service line for the complex cancer patient” at the American Academy of Ambulatory Care Nursing National Conference.
