Gigi Kreibich is currently an organic chemistry researcher at the University of Minnesota who also conducts research with Research To The People, a group using artificial intelligence programs and research networking to analyze genetic information for complex disease patients. She did her undergraduate degree at Stephens College, where she majored in biopsychology and did research at the University of Missouri’s Cognitive Neuroscience Laboratory.
She was diagnosed with the metabolic bone disease Juvenile Hypophosphatasia and several other conditions at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. and continues to use her unique patient experiences navigating the healthcare system to spread awareness, educate, and advocate for rare disease research and diversity in the healthcare field.
