Diane Klein

Service Designer, Mayo Clinic Center for Innovation

Diane has been working at Mayo Clinic Center for Innovation since 2012. Prior to this, Diane was the Managing Director of ESI Design, an Experience and Interaction Design Firm in New York City. There she led a wide array of large-scale design projects for companies such as Sony, Nike and the Shanghai Corporate Community.  Employing the same processes and strategies she used designing public spaces, Diane’s recent work at Mayo Clinic focuses on improving hospital communication and patient experience.

Diane has over 25 years experience in experience design and innovation. Her work includes design, design management and strategy for corporate, retail and cultural institutions, with the last five years focused on health and healthcare.
