As a researcher and design strategist, Amy works with multidisciplinary design teams to translate user insights into realized solutions. Amy has a background in user-centered healthcare innovation, previously working as a Service Designer at the Mayo Clinic Center for Innovation where she focused on bringing patient and provider needs to the forefront of health IT and process design.
At IA Collaborative, Amy continues to explore design problems in healthcare contexts. Projects include leading research to inform the introduction of a new migraine medication into the patient and staff experience in the neurology office and guiding a payor group in developing an innovation practice. Amy has previously contributed to the Transform Symposium as a breakout speaker in 2016 and has spoken on creating change in healthcare systems at the mHealth + Telehealth World 2016 conference.
